Privacy Policy

SVS MEP Solutions, trading as SVS BIM Solutions ("we", "us"), provides Building Information Modelling services to contractors and consultants. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We only collect what we need to answer a business enquiry and to understand how this website is used.

• Enquiries you send us. When you email us or submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, we receive your name, work email address, company, job title and your answers to any qualifying questions (for example the project type, disciplines or timing). We also keep anything you choose to send, such as drawings, models or scope documents.
• Website usage. This site runs its own first-party analytics, hosted on our own web server. It records the pages you visit, the page or campaign that referred you (including UTM and ad click identifiers), your device and browser type, approximate country, scroll depth, clicks and time on page. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so it cannot identify an individual connection.

We use enquiry data to reply to you, to prepare and send the clash audit, proposal or information you asked for, and to follow up on that request. We use website usage data to see which pages and campaigns are useful and to fix problems with the site.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to a newsletter or mailing list.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies (for example to visitors in Ireland), we rely on your consent when you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and running a secure, working website. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law applies, we process your data on the basis of the request you made to us and your consent, and only for the purposes set out in this policy.

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. If you become a client, project and contract records are kept for as long as the contract and applicable law require.

Website analytics records are deleted automatically after no more than 400 days.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

We use a small number of service providers (processors) to run our business: our website hosting provider and our email provider. They process data only on our instructions. LinkedIn operates its own platform and its own privacy policy applies to what you do on LinkedIn; we receive only the details you submit in a Lead Gen Form.

We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

We work with clients in several countries, so your data may be processed outside the country you are in, including outside the European Economic Area. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Depending on where you are, you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.

Email info@svsbim.com with your request. We will reply within one month. If you are in Ireland or elsewhere in the EU and are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission.

This site does not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our first-party analytics stores a random visitor identifier in your browser's local storage and a session identifier in session storage, so that visits can be counted without cookies. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

We do not currently run Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag or any other third-party tracking on this site. If we switch one on, we will update this policy first.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including restricting access to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us anything more sensitive than your enquiry requires.

We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it.
